How do I change the battery in my ScanLogic entrypad?
The battery compartment is located in one of two places on your EntryPad -either on the back of the EntryPad or in the SureLock Battery Management compartment:
Will I lose my code if I change the battery or if the battery dies?
No. The code is programmed in the both in the entrypad and locking mechanism and will not be affected if you change the battery or if the battery dies.
How will I know if my battery is low?
The screen will display "Low Battery"
What kind of battery should I use?
Recommended 9V Alkaline - Duracell or Energizer

Where can I find the 20-digit serial number for my entrypad?
The serial number is located on the backplate or behind the entrypad. You will need to remove the entrypad from the safe. To remove the EntryPad fromthe safe door, push up from the bottom of the EntryPad.You will feel the SnapFit mounting holes release from the shoulder bolts. The serial number is located on a silver or blue sticker.

The serial number is located on the locking mechanism inside your safe door. The serial number is located on a silver or blue sticker.
